GRADUATE RECORD EXAMINATION (GRE®)
Applicants for the current 2011-12 admissions cycle should take the GRE and request official scores from ETS by no later than April 15, so that the scores arrive before the PTCAS application closes on June 1. Note: PT programs may not consider GRE scores submitted at this point in the cycle. Review the GRE deadline for each program.

TAKE GRE BEF0RE JULY 31, 2011
- Due to changes in the GRE® in 2011, programs may require or prefer that you to take the exam early and before the "GRE® revised General Test" is introduced on August 1, 2011.
- Early Decision candidates MUST take the GRE® and request scores by no later than 7/31
- A PT program may deny your application if your GRE® scores are late or missing.
REQUEST OFFICIAL GRE SCORES
Arrange for the ETS to send your official GRE® scores your designated PT programs, if the GRE® is required by the program.
Most PT programs have NEW GRE® CODES for the 2011-12 admissions cycle.
It is very important that you send your official GRE scores to the correct code for EVERY PT program you will apply to. If you don't use the right GRE code, a program may consider your file incomplete even if your official GRE scores are forwarded to it through PTCAS.
