Science courses must be appropriate for science majors. Survey courses or courses designated as no credit for majors are not accepted.
All prerequisites must have a grade of “C” or above.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

For 2011-12 Cycle: Due to changes in the GRE, programs may require or prefer that you take the exam early and before the "GRE® revised General Test" is introduced on August 1. Early Decision candidates in PTCAS must take the GRE and request scores to be sent by no later than July 31.

However, we highly suggest that multiple volunteer/observation opportunities (i.e. pediatrics, outpatient, inpatient, etc...) should be explored to confirm your interest in physical therapy as a career. University of Tennessee at Chattanooga DPT Program

Physical Therapy is a dynamic profession that is highly rewarding to the practitioner and the client. Our graduates are well prepared to be competent physical therapists in a variety of practice settings. The physical therapy program at UTC is very fortunate to have an extremely well prepared faculty and staff who are committed to facilitating the success of our students. In addition, the physical therapy community is strongly supportive of our students as they complete the clinical education components of the curriculum.
