  • Transcripts: One official copy of transcripts, from all previous institutions (except UTC) must be sent to the UTC Graduate School upon request.   
  • Proof of initial CPR/First Aid certification: Current CPR/First Aid certification must be maintained throughout the duration of the program. If your certification is expired, please send a copy of your expired card.   
  • Medical Terminology: Students may complete a medical terminology course prior to beginning the program, or will otherwise be required to pass a test during the first week of classes.

University of Tennessee at Chattanooga DPT Program   

Physical Therapy is a dynamic profession that is highly rewarding to the practitioner and the client. Our graduates are well prepared to be competent physical therapists in a variety of practice settings. The physical therapy program at UTC is very fortunate to have an extremely well prepared faculty and staff who are committed to facilitating the success of our students. In addition, the physical therapy community is strongly supportive of our students as they complete the clinical education components of the curriculum.
