When a decision is made on your fee waiver application,
PTCAS will notify you through your application (login to your account and check
for messages) and email. It is important that you not submit your application until
you receive your fee waiver decision. All fee waiver decisions are
If you are
approved for a PTCAS fee waiver, you must submit your PTCAS application
within 14 business days from the time the fee waiver approval is emailed to you.
If you do not submit your application within 14 calendar days after the fee
waiver award date, your fee waiver is automatically forfeited, and you will not
be able to submit another fee waiver request during this application cycle.
If a fee waiver is approved, the base application amount
will automatically be applied to your account during the application submission
and payment process. If you apply to additional programs beyond the scope of
your awarded fee waiver, you may be responsible for the additional fees.
The PTCAS fee waiver is tied to the US Department of Health and Human Services’ poverty level guidelines. The Low-Income levels below equal 200% of the DHHS poverty level.
